Devotees sit cross-legged in a row on a wooden floor during a communal meal after a ritual at a temple hall with red curtains. Each person has a green banana leaf with rice, vegetables and other food. A woman on the left in a cream and blue ikat sari with rudraksha beads and bangles scoops food from her leaf. Others wear white ritual clothes, including a young woman with rudraksha malas and a man in a white shirt. Water bottles sit between the leaves. A white deity murti is visible at the right edge, and a few people stand or sit in the background.2019-07-06 +1 copiesKAILASA HOUSTON, USA on 7/6/20192019-07-06 +1 copiesKAILASA LOS ANGELES, USA on 8/9/20192019-08-09KAILASA in SanJose on 4/22/20192019-04-22 +1 copiesSeptember 21 20162016-09-21Annadhan during Allahabad Kumbhamela 20132013-01-01 +1 copiesA photo of a devotional gathering in a hall with white marble floors. Rows of people sit cross-legged or kneeling before green banana leaves holding rice, yellow dal, fried vadas, pickles and sliced vegetables, with white paper cups set beside them. Many men wear white kurtas with saffron-orange shawls, and several wear orange-trimmed white garments; a man in the foreground has a saffron shawl over white clothes and wears glasses. Children in casual shirts sit at the far right, and additional seated devotees fill the background rows, all eating with their right hands. The mood is an orderly annadan-style feeding line.2012-04-26
