A large black iron wok sits on a rusted metal stove stand on a dirt floor, filled with bubbling hot oil. A perforated white metal frying skimmer with a long handle rests in the oil. Yellow stains dot the skimmer and the floor. Behind it stands a dark metal vessel, and at the upper left a dark cooking drum. No people are visible, and the scene suggests food being fried in a community kitchen setting.2012-01-06January 06 20122012-01-06A close photograph of a large black iron wok filled with bubbling golden oil, with many pale dough pieces frying and foaming across the surface.
