Two young men in saffron-orange dhoti-style garments sit before a wall of flower garlands in red, yellow, purple and white. The figure on the right wears an orange-and-gold turban with a red stone ornament, gold necklaces, rudraksha malas and a white-and-red flower garland, with white tripundra markings on the forehead and arms. The figure on the left wears a green-and-gold turban, a white and red garland and a rudraksha mala, with his hands resting in his lap. Behind them hang garlanded silk cloths in green and gold. The setting suggests a temple ceremony with eyes closed in devotion.2018-04-27Two young men stand side by side on a red carpet in front of an ornate golden shrine or throne canopy decorated with flower garlands and silver lamps. Both wear orange dhotis with gold borders and white body markings on the arms and chest, with garlands of white jasmine, yellow marigolds and red roses. The man on the left wears a green and gold turban and a gold chest necklace; the man on the right wears an orange turban and a beaded wrist band. Silver oil lamps and a banana plant frame the scene, and the setting looks like a temple or ashram ceremony.2016-12-19December 19 20162016-12-19October 11 20142014-10-11December 13 20112011-12-13January 04 20162016-01-04A golden statue of a standing figure in a red turban, wearing a jeweled red-and-gold sash, a tiger-striped garment, red dhoti and a white and yellow marigold garland with red roses, raising one hand in blessing. Beside it stands a deity murti with a green-and-gold crown, layered gold necklaces, a rudraksha-style bead mala and a yellow and red flower garland, in front of a bronze-and-gold temple backdrop with a pink and green cloth. No physical people are visible; the statues are the subjects.2014-09-18Night procession on an ornate gold-carved palanquin or ratha. A central seated man wears a golden crown with a curved finial, a red-and-white flower garland and an orange-brown robe, with an orange cloth folded on the seat beside him. Behind him a bald attendant in orange holds a silver staff. Above, a white canopy hangs with long strands of white and yellow jasmine-style flowers. On the right a standing attendant in a white dhoti with gold borders and gold armlets stands near a green and red floral garland.2016-12-23December 23 20162016-12-23A man in a rust-orange (saffron-toned) sannyasi wrap and a yellow and red flower garland stands at left, smiling and touching a deity murti with both hands while holding a thin lit stick or offering near its ornamented face. The murti wears a tall jeweled crown, a large gold necklace, gemstone-studded armour-like ornaments and a green draped garment, and is surrounded by dense garlands of marigold, red roses and white flowers, typical of an abhishekam or alankara puja. Another ornate figure in a green skirt and leopard-print covered garment stands behind.2015-01-09A seated man in a white turban and cream shawl sits on a golden throne framed by a large arch of marigolds and red roses in yellow, green, red and purple. He wears layered red and white garlands, a rudraksha-style mala, gold bangles and a maroon-brown dhoti-style cloth. A young man in white shirt and dhoti bends forward to offer flowers, and an attendant in orange robes stands at right holding a flower garland. Gold and brass ritual vessels, hanging brass bells and floral strands decorate the background. Swamiji (probable) is the seated figure receiving the bhiksha offering, with his long hair and ceremonial gold and rudraksha adornments distinguishing him as the central honoured figure.2013-07-22June 22 20092009-06-22
