Outdoor temple ritual at the Anandeshwar Mandir in front of an orange-washed building. Two priests in white dhotis with maroon borders and sacred threads stand at a square black fire pit (homa kunda) with a white stone edge. The front priest, bare-chested and shaved-headed, holds a silver plate and lamp, while a younger priest beside him holds a silver tray. Brass and steel plates of offerings, including what appear to be grains and fruit, sit on the orange cloth at left. To the right, a grey elephant-shaped deity murti (Ganesha) is adorned with dense garlands of red, yellow, orange and white flowers and an orange cloth draped on its seat, set on a red cloth. A silver vessel of flowers stands nearby, and an orange canopy covers the shrine entrance.
