December 28 20142014-12-28A large seated gathering in a hall with purple floor covering and yellow walls. Rows of monks in saffron and orange robes sit on the right, with leaf plates of food, cups and water bottles laid out in long lines along the floor. On the left, women in orange and saffron garments and rudraksha malas sit in rows, while a woman in white with an orange shawl sits near the centre with hands folded. Other women in white and orange shawls sit in the background, and a man in white stands at the back near a camera tripod. The scene suggests a seated ritual meal or puja. No clearly identifiable presentation cues for a person are visible, so no candidate is marked.2014-12-28December 28 20142014-12-28A large hall with a long blue floor covering where rows of seated people face a raised golden throne-like seat at the far end, beneath a red curtain and framed by potted plants. Along the rows, saffron-robed participants sit with rudraksha malas and marigold garlands, with small plates of food and water bottles set before them. On the left, several young boys in saffron cloths and garlands sit in a line, and a few white-clad men in white dhotis with red shawls sit nearer the camera. A seated figure in a saffron-coloured robe is positioned on the golden seat, with a white-clad attendant beside it. Several women in white and red shawls and saris also sit in the foreground, and a projector screen is mounted on the right wall. The setting suggests a seated group ritual meal or satsang in a formal hall, with a person indicated only by the saffron robe and rudraksha cues on the figure seated on the central throne.2014-12-28September 30 20162016-09-30A large hall with white ceiling drapery and maroon curtains sets up a long seated meal. Rows of people sit cross-legged on the polished floor before green banana leaves holding snacks, with small paper cups. Men on the left wear white dhotis and shaved heads or tilak, some with rudraksha malas. Women on the right wear orange or saffron shawls over white clothing. Several white-clad attendants stand and serve along the rows, and a figure in a green sari stands at the right. Colourful bunting hangs from pillars at the front, with a projector screen on the wall. No clear depiction of the central figure is identifiable, so no a person candidate is confirmed.2011-07-20 +1 copiesRows of green banana leaves are laid out on a glossy white tiled floor for a communal meal, with woven straw mats running between them. Each leaf holds servings of rice, a vegetable curry, a fried vada, banana, papad or flatbread, a small mound of grated coconut and orange chutney, and small cups of sambar or dal. Orange-clad figures in the top left corner and a golden deity murti are partly visible in the background. Some legs in orange robes stand at the top edge of the frame. The scene is a food offering arrangement with no clear seated diners visible.2016-11-11 +1 copiesDecember 28 20142014-12-28A row of people sit cross-legged on the floor of a bright hall eating a communal meal from green banana-leaf plates laid on white cloth. Many wear white kurta-style clothes with red-orange shawls draped over their shoulders. Small paper cups and water bottles line the leaves. Behind them, attendants in saffron and cream clothing move about, and framed pictures stand on tables near the wall. The setting suggests an ashram annadan-style meal during a multi-day programme.2016-02-24 +1 copiesSeated ritual gathering in a hall during a puja, with rows of devotees on red mats facing a central raised seat draped in a green and blue fan backdrop. Saffron-robed priests sit at the left with bare shaved heads and ash marks, while white-clad devotees and women in orange shawls sit in rows. Brass vessels and a kalasha stand near the central seat, and low wooden tables hold banana-leaf plates with food offerings and small cups. A standing attendant in white moves at the far right. The scene shows a satsang-style puja setting rather than a identifiable individual, and the central seated figure is too small to identify with confidence.2014-07-26 +3 copiesDecember 28 20142014-12-28September 30 20162016-09-30
