Outdoors at dusk, a homa is performed in front of a deity murti of Ganapathi decorated with yellow and purple flower garlands and a red-and-gold canopy. Several shaven-headed priests in white dhotis with red-bordered cloth sit around a square fire pit, some with gold beaded necklaces, while smoke rises from the pit. Brass and silver lamps stand nearby, with a large brass drum, plates of offerings and a seated elephant figure beside the murti. A red building behind bears the sign 'Sri Anandeshwar Mandir'. Several priests are visible, some standing and some seated.
