In the foreground a blue umbrella with gold trim, sequined fringe and a circular portrait medallion of a bearded man in a red turban is held by a smiling man in a light shirt. Behind it are blue, yellow, orange and pink umbrellas with similar sequined borders and medallion portraits. Several men in shirts stand among the umbrellas, one with a white tilak mark on his forehead, and green trees form the background.2016-12-23January 13 20172017-01-13December 03 20162016-12-03A festival procession in an outdoor street. A seated figure in an orange-red garment and gold beaded necklace rides beneath an ornate red canopy embroidered with white and gold motifs and trimmed with orange tassels, with a second multicoloured canopy with fringed tassels beside it. Garlands of orange flowers drape the canopy's edges. In the foreground, blurred hands raise green leaves and small offering pots, and a crowd stands along the roadside. A deity murti is not clearly visible. The figure's face is obscured and the seated person is not clearly identifiable, so a person is unsure.2009-07-23A procession of ornate umbrellas with silver fringed edges and silver finials fills the frame, with palm trees blurred behind them. The foreground umbrella is hot pink with a gold trim and a small oval portrait of a man wearing an orange turban and a white shirt, labelled with no readable name. Other umbrellas in pink, magenta, green, blue and orange with floral gold brocade surround it. At the lower right, a woman in glasses and white clothing is partly visible among the umbrellas. The scene suggests a ceremonial outdoor procession.2016-12-03April 22 20162016-04-22A procession on a stone-paved courtyard. In the foreground, a man in white dhoti and shawl with gold borders carries a red umbrella with gold floral brocade and silver fringe, and holds a long red-and-yellow umbrella pole; he is barefoot and wears rudraksha beads. Behind him, several figures in saffron-orange robes and orange head cloths walk in the procession, one with long dark hair, and a red-and-orange umbrella is held aloft. Red and orange canopies and a red structure appear in the background.2017-08-31 +1 copiesCeremonial parasols with sequined fringe dominate the frame. In the foreground a blue parasol bears a framed oval portrait of a bearded man wearing a red-and-gold turban, gold necklaces and a garland, edged with gold braid. Behind it a yellow parasol with beaded fringe, and a blurred person in a blue shirt stands at the right edge. The setting appears to be an outdoor procession or ceremony.2016-12-03December 30 20082008-12-30December 29 20092009-12-29
