In the foreground a bare-chested craftsman in white kneels beside a golden-brown carved figure, while another seated worker and a seated man in a plaid shirt are nearby. Several saffron-robed sannyasis stand in a line; one tall figure in a saffron wrap and saffron head covering stands with hands folded, and a few men in maroon and gold dhotis with rudraksha malas and tilak marks stand beside him. Behind them are a golden deity statue, a gas cylinder, and stacked sculptures. A person at the right edge holds a red folder.2014-11-21A photo taken inside a thatched, open-sided shed with a concrete floor and bamboo lattice walls, where a group of men in orange and yellow sannyasi-style robes stand among stone and clay sculptures and unfinished carved figures. In the centre, a man in orange robes and an orange turban, with rudraksha malas around his neck, faces a bare-backed man with long dark hair who is also wearing an orange cloth. Beside them a man in a white shirt and white dhoti stands with folded hands, and a bearded man in white and an orange shawl stands at the right. A younger man in white dhoti and a shawl stands at the left. Several sculptures and carved stone pieces lie on the ground at the bottom of the frame.2007-08-09A photograph inside a thatched-roof hall with woven bamboo walls and a lattice panel. Two men in white shirts work at the left: one bends low placing bricks, the other holds long iron rods. Standing in the centre, a bald priest in orange-saffron dhoti with gold borders and a rudraksha-style mala presses his palms together in prayer. To the right, a man with swept-back long hair wears an orange dhoti with gold borders and bare upper body, while another bald man in orange robes and beaded necklace holds a plate of red offerings. The scene suggests a ritual preparation such as a homa fire pit being readied.2013-09-16
