He wears a long gold necklace with a pendant, a gold armband and bangles, and sits on a red tiger-striped cushioned seat flanked by two golden lion sculptures. Behind him are dense garlands of marigolds, roses and white flowers in orange, pink, yellow and red. The tiger-skin mat beneath him and the gold-embossed base complete the throne-like setting, which suggests a discourse. The person is a presence rather than a clearly identified figure from appearance alone, so identity is left unsure.2015-11-16A man sits on an ornate gold throne carved with lion-head arm rests and a tiger-striped cushion, a brass bell hanging above him. He wears a rust-orange dhoti with a gold border, an orange-red bead garland with gold beads, and a tilak mark on his forehead. Brass lamps, a brass kalasha-style vessel and pink flower offerings sit at his bare feet on the dais.
