December 22 20092009-12-22 +1 copiesA man seated on an ornate gilded throne, smiling, wearing an elaborate gold crown, a maroon and gold brocade sherwani, cream trousers, layered gold necklaces and rings. He holds a silver staff topped with a bird finial. Behind him is a backdrop of garlands of yellow, orange, purple and red flowers, and a bright red mark on his forehead. A gold-toned and green cloth appears at the left edge. The figure's appearance is consistent with the page's reference to a person, with cues including long swept-back hair, a crown and ceremonial gold necklaces, though identity is uncertain.2011-12-15 +1 copiesA man seated on an ornate gold throne with carved gold base and cushioned armrests, wearing a deep magenta fan-shaped turban with gold trim, a multicoloured sequinned sherwani, red trousers, a gold necklace and a red-and-gold shawl. He holds a silver staff topped with a bird figure and rests his other hand on the armrest. Behind him stands a decorated deity murti pair in orange and green garments, framed by a garland of yellow, purple, magenta and white flowers and a green draped cloth. The scene is a formal stage setting with a green-and-gold canopy structure.2011-12-16December 16 20112011-12-16 +1 copiesA seated man on an ornate gold throne with a flower-garland backdrop of red, yellow, purple and white blossoms. He wears an orange turban with a silver ornament, a cream embroidered sherwani, a rust-and-gold beaded garland, and an orange shawl over one shoulder. He holds a silver-tipped staff across his lap and wears a red-maroon dhoti with gold trim, barefoot on a gold footstool. Probable Swamiji, identified by the saffron turban, long hair, ornate clothing and ceremonial garlands; the throne and floral decor mark a seated honour. A gold lion-shaped armrest is visible at right.2011-12-12May 09 20142014-05-09December 14 20112011-12-14A standing man in a cream, gold-embroidered sherwani and red dhoti stands barefoot on a red cushion before an ornate gold throne. He wears a red and cream turban, a red shawl draped over his shoulder, and a heavy gold necklace of large beads. Long dark hair falls past his ears, and a red tilak marks his forehead. Behind him, a gold throne with lion-head armrests is decorated with bands of red, yellow, purple and white flower garlands. The scene shows a pada puja. He is physically present.2011-12-14September 15 20112011-09-15A seated man in an ornate gold-embroidered sherwani with a red turban and a long red shawl sits on a gilded throne with lion-armrests. He wears a heavy gold bead necklace and holds a silver staff with a bird-topped finial. Behind him are garlands of marigolds and roses in yellow, red, purple and white, and a green cloth covers a figure at left. Bare feet rest on a red cushion. The setting suggests a pada-puja ceremony on a raised dais. Appearance-based candidate for a person is uncertain: the throne, royal regalia and bare-footed pose match the event context but the face and hair alone are not distinctive enough to confirm identity.2011-12-14December 11 20112011-12-11 +1 copiesA man seated on an ornate gold throne with a large carved gilded backrest and a red cushion on a gold platform.
