In each panel, a fire pit with a large flame sits at the centre, and people in white ritual clothes sit around it, one man in white tending the fire in the left panel. Behind them, a seated audience in white is visible, with a stone floor and pillars. Offering vessels sit near the fire pit. The collage is a photographic composite and shows a fire ritual rather than a discourse or talk.2010-10-08A homa fire ritual at a white stone fire altar. A brick fire pit with a bright flame sits at the centre, surrounded by offerings. On the right, a long-haired figure in saffron-orange robes sits with palms pressed together in prayer. Beside them, a man in white ritual clothes sits near the fire. To the left, a child in a red garment sits by the fire, and a young boy in white kneels at the pit. Several other people in white and light clothing sit in the background, and a small oil lamp burns near the front edge. The long-haired figure in saffron robes with a folded-hands posture is a probable Swamiji by appearance, present in person at the fire ritual.2006-02-11
