A brick fire pit with a bright flame sits at the centre, surrounded by offerings. On the right, a long-haired figure in saffron-orange robes sits with palms pressed together in prayer. Beside them, a man in white ritual clothes sits near the fire. To the left, a child in a red garment sits by the fire, and a young boy in white kneels at the pit. Several other people in white and light clothing sit in the background, and a small oil lamp burns near the front edge. Around the pit are brass pots, coconuts, bananas, and small bowls of grains, flowers and offerings arranged on a silver tray. Behind him, seated devotees in white clothes and a woman in a teal sari sit with hands folded in prayer. Behind them, a framed photograph of a woman in orange garments, garlanded with orange marigolds and a rudraksha-style mala, stands on a decorated stand, and a yellow-and-orange kalasha sits at the top right. A man with long dark hair, wearing an orange-saffron cloth, sits cross-legged and holds up a large brass plate or bell-shaped vessel over a flaming homa fire built on a raised brick platform. Brass pots, a brass lamp stand and a small offering tray rest on the ground around the fire. Behind him, a row of seated devotees in white and pastel clothing watch, and several onlookers stand at the edges under a blue canopy.
