A priest with bare upper body and a white dhoti bordered in gold stands at left, holding a lit oil lamp aloft toward a deity murti. The murti, a grey stone figure wearing a tall gold crown and a white and gold necklace, is set before a gold arched backdrop draped in purple cloth. It is decorated with a large garland of yellow and green fruits, red and white flowers, and orange marigold strings, and a trident rests against it. A blue and gold skirt-like draping covers its base, with a vase of flowers at lower right. The scene suggests a Kalabhairava puja.

A priest with a bare back and white dhoti stands at left, facing a seated deity murti in a gilded throne with a blue robe, red-and-orange garlands and a golden crown. A gold-and-sequin decorative backdrop and a maroon banner with a seated figure motif frame the shrine. No a person candidate is visible; the seated figure is a deity murti, not a person.

Inside the shrine, a golden-faced deity murti in an orange and red garment, adorned with silver necklaces and red garlands, stands above two smaller deity figures in green and orange clothing with garlands, all set on a gold-cloth-covered altar with flowers and brass vessels. The scene depicts an evening puja for Devi Parashakti during Navaratri at the Nithyanandeshwara Hindu Temple.
