At left, a man in an orange-saffron robe with a rudraksha-style bead mala walks at the front. Behind him, several women in white saris with gold borders carry offerings: one holds a large round tray of red and white flowers with green leaves, others carry brass or wicker-wrapped pots with flowers and banana leaves. A woman in a teal-green blouse and white shawl carries a pot with pink flowers at right. A drummer in white dhoti and shirt plays a red-and-black drum at far right. Bright light flares at the upper left. Appears to be a pada puja or procession with pot offerings.2014-07-01Night procession at an open-sided pavilion with a corrugated roof and an orange-painted building behind. A bare-chested man in orange-red dhoti with a rudraksha mala and white markings on his chest and arms, holding a small metal kalasha, stands at centre facing a woman in pink-red sari. A large umbrella with multicoloured tassels and a decorated canopy is held overhead, and women in orange, red and white saris stand around, some holding flower garlands and a lit lamp on a pole. The scene resembles a ceremonial welcome with a canopy and kalasha.2013-02-16December 17 20062006-12-17
