A large group of seated devotees performs a padapuja-style ritual in a hall. Most wear white, yellow or orange-red garments with red or saffron shawls; many hold small brass oil lamps and bells while reciting with open books on mats. Brass plates, small oil lamps and flowers sit on orange mats on the floor in front. Women and girls dominate the front rows, and a few boys sit among them. Audience members in the background watch from chairs. The image is a photograph of this group and does not show a visible depiction of a person.2010-10-19April 04 20122012-04-04September 18 20132013-09-18April 12 20132013-04-12November 20 20112011-11-20September 12 20102010-09-12March 13 20132013-03-13September 26 20122012-09-26November 30 20112011-11-30December 30 20112011-12-30July 30 20132013-07-30A seated group ritual in a hall where many devotees in orange and saffron clothing hold small oil lamps and brass vessels over trays of flowers and offerings. Two young girls in the foreground, one in orange with a white forehead mark and rudraksha beads, wear orange robes and hold lamps and a small brass bell. Women in orange and red saris with rudraksha malas hold lit diyas, and an elderly woman in orange with glasses raises a lamp near the centre. A few white-clad participants sit among them. Brass plates with flowers, marigold petals and small bowls are arranged on silver-coloured trays on the floor, with woven mats beneath.2013-09-20
