A photograph of a shrine inside a temple-like room. A figure with hair tied in a bun, wearing a rust-orange draped garment with gold borders, a gold armlet and a beaded necklace, stands at left with hands folded in prayer, facing a dark-faced deity murti seated in blue and gold drapery. The murti wears a crown, multiple beaded necklaces and a green bead garland, and sits in a gold arched niche framed by a garland of yellow, orange and white flowers. Brass oil lamps with peacock-shaped tops stand on both sides, flanking tall decorated cloth pillars in red, blue and yellow. A small brass figure and a white-and-orange garlanded figure sit at the base. The figure at left is not clearly identifiable as a person from appearance, so the depiction is uncertain and the figure is described by role as a devotee at prayer.2014-06-16A photograph inside a shrine room of a devotee in an orange saffron garment with a white flower garland around the neck, seen from behind, holding a lit oil lamp or aarti flame toward a black stone deity murti.
