Two men sit on a colourful striped floor mat in front of a gold-framed orange tufted sofa for a ritual offering of flowers. The man on the left wears a flowing saffron-orange robe, a dark beaded rudraksha mala, and white tilak markings on his forehead, and holds rose petals over a silver tray. The man on the right wears a maroon-brown dhoti and shawl, a gold beaded necklace, and a red bindi with white ash markings on his arms, and offers petals and yellow flowers. A tray of marigold and rose petals, coconuts and fruit sits in the foreground. Behind them a third man in maroon sits partly hidden.

Outdoor homa at an ashram courtyard. A young man in saffron cloth with rudraksha malas sits cross-legged at left, sorting yellow flowers on a metal tray. Behind him a second young man in white dhoti reads from an open book. At right, a bare-chested priest in white pours liquid into a fire pit where smoke rises from wooden-stepped sides. Brass vessels, a bronze oil lamp, a kalasha-like pot and marigold garlands sit on the ground. On a raised orange chair, a framed portrait shows a seated figure in orange with a mala, but it is a printed picture, not a person present. Several saffron-robed devotees sit at far left.

Photograph of a ritual in progress at a temple-like hall. A seated man in orange-saffron robes, wearing a rudraksha mala and gold bangles, holds his hands together in front of his face in prayer. Beside him, a younger boy in an orange turban and orange-and-gold garments sits with palms joined. In front of them is a stack of yellow turmeric blocks, a small brass lamp with a visible flame, bowls of white flowers and yellow grains, a brass vessel with a ladle, and a kalasha-style pot with mango leaves. Behind, a decorated deity murti is adorned with green and white garlands and pink draping, with a seated figure in orange and red at left.
