September 04 20102010-09-04A photograph inside a covered temple hall with a corrugated roof and exposed steel trusses. Along a central red carpet, two saffron-robed monks walk toward a shrine with an ornate golden arch, where a deity murti sits with garlands and flanking figures. A third man in white dhoti stands behind them. Devotees line both sides behind metal railings, several with palms pressed together in namaskar, including an older woman in a white and yellow sari and a woman in pink. Red curtains frame the shrine and decorative striped pillars stand at the edges. One saffron-robed figure appears to carry an offering or item, and the scene reads as darshan procession in an ashram-style temple.2010-08-14A photograph inside an orange-walled hall with a corrugated metal roof and painted columns. Devotees line both sides of a red carpet, standing with palms pressed together in namaste. Women in orange and white saris and a man in a white dhoti and beige vest stand at the rail. At the far end of the carpet, several saffron-robed monks walk toward an open doorway, one holding a long pole or staff. A man in white dhoti stands at the right edge. Framed photographs and a printed banner hang on the left wall.2010-08-14December 16 20092009-12-16December 12 20092009-12-12December 09 20092009-12-09December 07 20092009-12-07A photograph of a darshan line inside a covered hall leading to a decorated shrine with a deity murti framed by a gold arch and red and purple cloth. A speaker hangs on the upper right wall.2010-02-10A photograph of a darshan line in a covered walkway leading to a shrine with a deity murti garlanded with flowers, set against a red and gold backdrop. Two figures in saffron-orange robes stand at the center of the walkway; the taller one, with long dark hair, extends his hands toward a devotee and holds an offering tray, while the other in orange holds a folded cloth. Devotees line both sides behind metal railings, including older women in white and cream saris, a woman in a light blue sari, and men in shirts and trousers, with some pressing palms together. Loudspeakers are mounted on the walls above.2010-02-10 +1 copiesDecember 10 20092009-12-10December 15 20092009-12-15October 30 20102010-10-30
