December 05 20142014-12-05Outdoor event photo of a man seated on an ornate gold throne with red cushions, wearing a rust-brown robe, a rudraksha-style mala, a gold chain and a pink-and-white flower garland, with a red tilak on his forehead and a smile. A bare-footed woman in orange robes on the left raises a stick, and a woman in white with an orange-red sash stands behind the throne. Two attendants in orange garments with bamboo staffs stand at right, one holding a staff upright. A striped woven mat covers the ground, and a white standing fan stands beside the throne. Greenery and a tent canopy appear behind.2017-01-14Night outdoor ritual at an ashram: a man with long dark hair, a red-brown robe, a gold chest ornament and beaded mala sits enthroned on a large gold lotus-backed throne with red cushions. Around him, orange-robed attendants with white-marked foreheads stand and sit; one bare-chested attendant in an orange cloth holds a mala. In the foreground a bare-shouldered attendant wearing an orange turban faces a yellow-rimmed fire pit with a flame and a brass vessel. Colourful striped cloth covers the platform, flower garlands lie at right, and a fan and a laptop sit nearby.2017-04-16October 02 20142014-10-02Outdoor photo of a seated figure on an ornate gold throne with carved scrollwork, cushioned in maroon, smiling broadly with a red and white flower garland and a dark rudraksha mala. He wears a black cap and saffron-orange robes, with bare feet resting on a small maroon cushion. Four men stand behind and to the left: a man in white dhoti with a red sash and shoulder bag, and three men in saffron-and-gold dhotis with rudraksha malas, one with a shaved head. Behind the throne are a golden palanquin-style canopy, decorated orange and red banners, a pink kalasha, and a red carpet on the ground. A small vase of white flowers sits at the base of the throne.2016-01-15A man with long swept-back hair, a sindoor-style forehead mark and a rust-red robe sits on an ornate gilded throne with a red velvet seat and cushion. He wears a long garland of white and purple flowers and multiple gold chains, with a large gold pendant at his chest. A shaved-headed man in white, holding a small object, sits at the lower right near the throne, while women in orange saris sit to the right and left edges. A red brick wall and a gold pole stand in the background. Because the page names Swamiji and his distinctive long hair, ornate gold chains, garland and rust-red robe are visible, this seated figure is a probable Swamiji (probable).2017-06-26Evening outdoor event on a raised red-draped stage. A man seated on an ornate gold throne with a carved gold back holds a silver trident-like staff in his right hand and smiles. He wears a dark turban-style headwrap, a red and white flower garland, gold necklaces and a rust-orange robe with gold-trimmed edges. A small bottle sits beside the throne. To the right, two attendants in rust-orange and gold-bordered garments stand, one with his back to the camera. A white fan is visible at right. Dark foliage forms the backdrop. A sign-like print on a small stand is at the bottom centre.2016-03-02A photograph of a padapuja-style ceremony in a decorated hall. A man seated on an ornate gold throne with a red cushioned back wears a red-orange robe, a long gold bead necklace and a red tilak, hands folded in his lap with eyes closed. Around the throne, several devotees in white dhotis and white clothes kneel or sit on the floor, some holding brass vessels and offerings; a woman in a white sari with gold motifs and a pink shawl sits near the throne's gold side panel. Behind is a painted backdrop with pillars, brass lamps and a small deity murti in a red-framed niche. A lit oil lamp stands at the right edge. Overlay text reads copyright and source credits. Visible cues for a candidate are his long swept-back hair, saffron-red robe and gold necklace seated on a throne, but the appearance is only moderately distinctive, so the a person value is unsure.2011-01-25January 31 20132013-01-31A bearded man in a rust-brown dhoti and shawl, wearing a matching rust-brown turban, sits cross-legged on an ornate gold throne carved with lions and a sunburst backrest. He wears a long gold-coloured garland, a gold pendant and bangles, with his right hand resting on his knee in a mudra. Leopard-print cushions line the throne. In front, a clay seat or low platform sits on a striped rug, and devotees in orange headcloths and saffron garments, some with white tilak, sit facing him at a ritual where small oil flames burn near the bottom edge. Women in pink and red saris and a seated woman in cream attend nearby, and a metal lamp stands at right.2017-02-21January 15 20162016-01-15A seated man with long dark hair and a white tilak with red bindi sits on an ornate gold throne-like chariot canopy, wearing a deep red-orange robe and multiple strands of rudraksha beads.
