December 13 20092009-12-13December 05 20092009-12-05A photograph of an indoor ashram hall where a long-haired man in an orange saffron robe stands at a metal barrier, extending his arm toward a line of women. He holds a small stack of white papers and appears to be handing out items or blessing devotees. The women in front wear pink, red and maroon saffron-accented salwar and saris, with bangles and earrings, and several have their hands pressed together. Behind him a man in an orange robe and a figure in white stand near a window with palm trees outside. A colourful woven banner with a bird motif hangs on a pillar, and blue signs are mounted on the wall. Several people are visible in the line, and a few more appear in the background.2009-12-05December 05 20092009-12-05A photograph of an indoor ashram hall with a wall clock, ceiling fan and open doorway onto palm trees. A man with long dark hair, a white tripundra on his forehead and an orange saffron robe stands centre, smiling and holding white papers, as people in white and orange clothes crowd around. Beside him a younger man in an orange robe also holds papers, and a man in white garments presses his palms together at right. A woman in a pink top and a white-flowered hair decoration stands in the foreground. A garland of marigolds hangs over a shoulder of a man wearing a yellow shawl. Swamiji (probable) appears in saffron robe with long hair and tripundra, in an appearance-based label only.2009-12-06December 06 20092009-12-06December 05 20092009-12-05January 02 20102010-01-02 +1 copiesJanuary 05 20132013-01-05A photograph of a man in a saffron-orange robe wearing a long pink and white flower garland walking barefoot across a whitewashed hall, smiling and looking ahead. Behind him a man in an orange robe holds a decorated multicoloured parasol on a long pole above him. Around the hall, a line of devotees stands with palms pressed together in namaste: women in white, pink and teal saris and white kurtas, and men in white shirts. A colourful painted pillar stands at the right and a wall clock hangs above the doorway. This appears to be a welcome procession in an ashram setting; the central figure has long swept-back hair and a saffron robe with a garland, consistent with a probable Swamiji (probable) candidate walking in procession.2009-08-17A photograph inside a white-walled ashram hall with a wall clock and a window opening onto palm trees. A man in orange-saffron robes with long swept-back dark hair and a red tilak on his forehead stands at a metal railing, holding a stack of papers and gesturing toward a line of people. Several women and girls in colourful salwar kameez and flower-decorated hair wait in the queue, some with hands folded in greeting; a teal-painted information board with Kannada text hangs on the left.2009-12-05December 29 20092009-12-29
