A street procession of devotees lines the roadside in daylight, with a long row of women in colourful saris standing barefoot on the tarmac. In the foreground a woman in navy blue floral sari stands with hands folded, followed by women in orange, yellow-green, green, red, light blue and cream saris. Men in white dhotis and shirts stand among them, one holding a plate of flowers and another holding a tray or offering. Behind them stands a large red-and-yellow signboard with a banner and a row of saffron flags on poles. Buildings and a few onlookers appear along the street.

A photograph of an outdoor queue of devotees waiting behind a wooden rail fence on a paved courtyard, apparently for food distribution. Women in colourful saris, including a yellow and orange sari, a red and green sari and a lavender sari, stand alongside men in white shirts and dhotis and a boy in a grey shirt holding a small object. Some women carry woven bags and baskets. A tall signboard with printed text stands behind them, with green palm trees and a white tent beyond. Many more people stand farther back in the crowd.

A large crowd of villagers, mostly women in colourful saris of pink, green, blue, orange and maroon, stands closely packed on a dirt road under a broad shade tree. Several elderly women in white and cream saris stand in the front rows, many with hands folded in devotion. A small child in an orange outfit is held by a woman in a black sari, and a man in a white shirt and white dhoti stands at the right edge. Behind them are a parked white van, a three-wheeler, motorbikes, a low compound wall and a tall temple gopuram in the distance.

A long line of women and girls in colourful saris and salwar stand along a paved roadside lined with trees and blue-and-white bunting. Most hold silver kalashas or pots decorated with flowers, and some hold garlands. A large printed portrait on a stand shows a man in an orange turban and orange clothing, labelled as a portrait captioned with Tamil text, and a dark signboard with Tamil lettering stands beside it. A few men in white dhotis and shirts stand at the left edge, and more people are seated on a vehicle in the background. Palm fronds lie on the ground.

A large crowd of mostly women in colourful saris gathers on a dirt road lined with trees, standing close together in a dense group. Many wear gold necklaces and bangles; one woman in a black sari with a red bindi stands near the centre, and a small child in an orange outfit is held at the front. A white-clad older man stands at the right edge, and a banner with a portrait and Tamil text is mounted on a pole at the upper left. Several people are visible further back along the road, and a few stand near a white wall on the right.

A photograph of villagers standing in two long lines along a concrete walkway lined with a red-and-cream carpet runner outdoors. In the foreground on the left, a woman in a red-and-cream sari with a red bindi and bangles stands with palms pressed together in namaste, next to a woman in a red sari and white blouse also with palms joined. Other women wear blue, pink, orange and green saris, and men wear white dhotis and checked shirts. A banana plant, palm trees, a thatched hut and a parked silver vehicle appear behind them. Several people are visible in total, all standing and facing the same direction.

Dense rows of devotees, mostly women in sarees in purple, pink, orange, yellow, white and green, stand with palms pressed together in namaskar. Some carry small children on their hips. Men in white shirts and dhotis and a man in a pink shirt stand among them. Parked white and red cars, motorbikes and a yellow-roofed roadside stall line the road behind. Shop signs and an overhead car roof fill the background.
