The man on the left has long dark hair swept back, wears an orange shawl draped over one shoulder with fringed ends, a rudraksha mala, and a red bindi, and looks downward with his hands together. Beside him stands a shaven-headed man in orange robes with a red border, thin-rimmed glasses, a rudraksha mala and a tilak, hands clasped at his waist. Foreground: a large dark stone deity murti resting on a white pillow atop wooden planks, with a yellow plastic chair at lower left. Behind them, white marble statues on a dark shelf and a person in white clothing at the right edge.2007-11-07A photograph of a ceremonial stone-laying at a temple site. A man with long, swept-back dark hair, wearing orange robes and a rudraksha mala, uses a trowel to spread cement onto a white stone block resting on a table. Beside him, a younger man in orange robes with a gold necklace stands watching. In the centre, a man in orange and maroon robes with a beaded mala and gold bangles stands with hands pressed together. At the right, a man in orange and maroon robes with folded arms looks down at the block. Behind them, a grey-haired man in white stands among other onlookers, and a decorated deity murti with garlands and a gold and green cloth is visible at the right edge.2007-11-15November 15 To 19 2007 - At Kailasa In LosAngelesAugust 10 20112011-08-10Indoor photo of a group gathered around a large grey stone sculpture lying on a wooden crate frame. The carved figure. On the left, a man in an orange shawl gestures toward it with an open hand. Behind the crate, a grey-haired man in a striped shirt and a woman in an orange shawl look down at the stone. A woman in a red shawl and pink sari stands beside a woman in a white top, both leaning on the wooden rail. On the far right, a figure in an orange robe with long dark swept-back hair leans forward toward the carving; this appearance is consistent with the page's reference to a person, but the identity cannot be confirmed from appearance alone. A pale wall and wooden door form the background.2007-11-15March 12 20082008-03-12
