Many devotees sit cross-legged on a patterned carpet, most in white kurtas, some in saffron or orange robes, with a few in plaid shirts. On the stage a deity murti stands in a gold-framed niche, flanked by lamps, and two large screens show a man in a red and white turban and red garment. A saffron-robed monastic is visible at lower right. The scene looks like a satsang or discourse. Roughly 60 people are visible.2016-07-13Photo from behind a large seated audience in a hall, many people sitting on patterned carpet facing a stage. Many people wear white, orange, and red clothing, with a few in checked shirts and sarees. On the far stage, several figures in orange and saffron robes sit before a decorated backdrop with a central ornate throne and a large floral painting. Two side screens show the stage. A figure on the stage wears saffron clothing, but the face and identity are not clear enough to confirm a probable identity. Overall the audience is seated in a dense, orderly satsang-style gathering.2015-05-27July 17 20162016-07-17July 26 20152015-07-26A large seated audience of devotees fills a hall, sitting on dark red mats with their backs to the camera, most dressed in white shirts and white dhotis or trousers. Beyond them, on a raised stage, a large portrait of a figure with curly hair in saffron robes appears on screens at either side, and a central backdrop shows a deity murti or framed devotional image. Several people in orange and saffron clothing sit near the front. Warm stage lighting contrasts with the dim hall.2016-08-28 +1 copiesDecember 12 20162016-12-12July 04 20162016-07-04A photograph of a large seated audience facing a raised stage in a banquet hall with red draped walls and a gold canopy valance. On the stage centre, a framed deity murti or portrait sits amid green garlands beside tall pillars. Two large screens on either side show a seated saffron-and-red robed teacher on a throne-like seat. Many devotees sit on the carpet wearing white kurtas and red-and-white shawls with printed sashes. In the foreground, a man in orange robes sits among the audience. A cameraman stands near the stage and cameras are mounted on tripods. Most viewers are seen from behind, listening to a discourse.2016-07-11A large crowd of devotees sits on the floor of a hall facing a lit altar decorated with golden and red drapery and strings of lights. At the centre of the altar, a seated figure in orange robes is flanked by ornate golden deity murti and a bull statue. Many men in white dhoti and shawls, some bare-chested with sacred threads, sit in rows, with others in orange and red garments. Camera operators on tripods film the proceedings, and a screen above the altar shows a picture. Near the right wall, a large decorated kalasha or shrine piece stands beside a seated devotee. The scene suggests a satsang or puja in an ashram hall.2017-12-02
