Outdoor ashram scene on a dusty ground beside a low orange-walled building with a corrugated roof. A smiling person with long hair, a red-orange forehead mark and an orange saffron-coloured robe sits on a folded teal mat with a yellow patterned design, one leg bent, beside a green-painted handcart piled high with white sacks, bags, cloth bundles and boxes. Stacked jute sacks sit behind the cart. To the left, a table holds terracotta pots and a red cushion, with white garland-decorated fabric nearby. A man in a white shirt and white dhoti stands at right, and another person in white is partly visible at left. Green pipes lie on the ground.2006-12-19Outdoor scene at a dusty compound beside a low orange-walled building with a corrugated roof. A seated man in orange robes and a white shawl sits on a green-and-yellow mat, hands folded near his chest, eyes closed. Behind him a green flatbed cart is loaded with white sacks, blue and yellow bags and a metal box, with burlap sacks stacked against the wall. A standing man in a white shirt and white dhoti, hands clasped, stands to the right. Clay pots and a basket sit on a wooden table to the left, and garlands hang on a white cloth at the edge of the frame.2006-12-19A photograph of a construction-site courtyard with a dusty ground and an orange-painted building behind. A white cloth with a gold border is draped over the lap. Behind them stand a green hand-cart, stacked sacks and cardboard boxes, a small orange-walled building with notice boards, and a person in white walking by. Clay pots and a folded red cushion sit on a wooden table at left. The setting looks like a working ashram compound. No printed name identifies the seated person.2006-12-19A seated figure in an orange saffron robe with long dark hair sits on a white cloth-covered chair in a dusty courtyard, working with a red cloth on a small green mat holding a neat arrangement of yellow flowers or offerings. A green-wheeled hand cart piled with sacks and bundles stands beside him. A group of women in white dresses and white garments, several wearing orange shawls and beaded necklaces, stand in a semi-circle watching. Behind them are a pink-washed building with a notice board and a tin-roofed shed with stacked sacks.2006-12-19December 22 20102010-12-22December 31 20092009-12-31A photograph of a dusty construction yard beside small terracotta-coloured buildings with corrugated roofs and a coconut palm. A standing woman in a long saffron-orange sari-style wrap with bare arms and a short-sleeved top, one hand on her hip, faces right beside a barefoot man in a white shirt and white dhoti. Behind them are stacked cement sacks, piles of gravel, timber, a green handcart, blue drums and rubble. Two people are visible, and the scene shows site work rather than ritual.2006-12-19
