A priest in white dhoti with gold border stands at right, his bare back to the camera, raising a kalasha-like vessel with green leaves while water sprays in a fine arc over the seated group. A white-clad figure in the centre is being showered and holds up a hand, while a man in saffron/orange cloth with a rudraksha mala sits at upper left. Devotees seated on the ground, bare-chested with white markings, press palms together in prayer at lower left and centre. Bright floodlight and a red-and-gold structure visible at top right.2017-08-22Photograph of a ritual inside a thatched, bamboo-roofed hall with a lattice wall behind. A man in saffron-orange robes and a matching orange turban, with a long dark hair and a rudraksha mala across his chest, stands bare-shouldered and holds up a yellow-orange coconut, which he pours liquid from as it splashes down. Several people in white clothes are seen from behind in the foreground, their dark heads turned toward him. Fine mist or smoke hangs in the air.2004-07-02Photograph of a seated group ceremony in a hall with lattice windows and brick-red walls. A central figure wearing a saffron-orange robe, orange head wrap and a long white flower garland holds a brass vessel raised overhead, pouring liquid, while flower petals scatter through the air. Around him on red cloth sit many devotees in white clothes, several with white garlands, some with hands folded in prayer. Women with dark hair and white flowers sit in the foreground. A green map-like wall chart hangs on the right. The page is a Sacred Collections archive entry for 2003, but the figure's identity is uncertain from appearance, so the central figure is described only by role as a priest or officiant conducting the ritual. Roughly 40 to 50 people are visible.July 13 20092009-07-13April 20 20032003-04-20Photograph of a shivalinga abhishekam at a small temple shrine framed by banana leaves and a stone wall. A young man in an orange-yellow dhoti-style robe and orange turban, wearing a long pink-and-white flower garland, pours liquid from a small metal vessel over a dark shivalinga set on a white cylindrical base. Beside him a man in a saffron-orange shawl and red-orange wrap stands with hands folded, and an older bearded man in saffron-orange robes stands nearby. Two men in white ritual clothes stand by, and a bare-chested man in a white dhoti with a blue-and-gold waistband stands at the right with hand on a blue rail. Red metal railings and a white painted cornice frame the scene.2003 -Glimpses From Various Programs2004 - First Sannyas Deeksha At AdiKailaasa2004-07-02A man in saffron-orange robes with a draped hood, a gold ceremonial necklace and white ash marks on his forehead and arms pours white powder from a bowl onto a large carved black stone linga on a dark stage.
