A seated man on an ornate golden throne with a red cushion wears an orange turban and an orange-and-pink flower garland, with a rudraksha bracelet on his wrist and a saffron shawl draped over him. Around him, devotees sit on a blue floor in white, saffron and red shawls, several holding brass plates of flowers and offerings, including a man in white and a woman in a white sari with a red-bordered shawl. A tall silver trident stands beside the throne, and a second golden throne sits empty in the background. The appearance-based candidate on the throne has long swept-back hair, a turban, saffron clothing and rudraksha beads, so this is a probable Swamiji (probable) in a satsang-style gathering.2014-05-11May 12 20142014-05-12A photograph of a padapuja in a wood-panelled hall. A long-haired man in orange-red wrap and leopard-print cloth sits on an ornate gold throne with a red cushion, his feet being washed or honoured by devotees seated before him on the floor. Behind him stand two deity murtis draped with gold and red beaded garlands in a golden shrine. Around the throne, devotees in white, red and orange clothing sit with brass plates of flowers and offerings, while others sit nearby. A pale light stand and potted plants fill the background. Several people wear red shawls and rudraksha-style beads. Whether the central figure is a person cannot be confirmed from appearance alone, so identity remains uncertain.2014-12-30May 09 20142014-05-09A padapuja ceremony in a hall with blue carpet and gold-and-red thrones. A seated figure on a gold throne with a red cushion wears a pink flower garland, orange-saffron cloth, a long spear-like staff stands beside him, and gold armbands are visible. Several devotees kneel on the blue floor in saffron and white clothes, one in a white kurta with an orange shawl, another in white. They offer washing or worship to the seated person's feet, with a silver plate of red flowers and brass puja plates with lamps and offerings in front. Other devotees in orange and red attire with rudraksha malas and tilak sit nearby, and the ceremony is attended by people in the foreground.2014-05-12July 21 20152015-07-21A seated man on an ornate gold throne with red velvet cushions receives devotees in a red-draped tent. He wears a saffron-orange garment with a shawl, a long white-and-orange flower garland, and holds a tall silver staff with a decorative top. Several people sit on the red carpet around him with hands together, including a woman in white with a red-and-orange shawl and a man in white with a lanyard. Brass plates with red flowers and petals are arranged on the floor near his feet. Red fabric, potted plants and electronic equipment are visible in the background.2014-08-04 +1 copiesA photo of a seated group in a red-curtained hall with ornate gold furnishings. On a large gold throne at upper right sits a robed figure in orange-saffron garments with a golden necklace and an orange turban, holding a golden staff; the figure's appearance is consistent with the Swamiji (probable) cues of a turban, saffron clothing and ceremonial gold, presented here as a throne-seated presence with devotees on the floor. Around him, roughly two dozen devotees sit cross-legged on the floor in white, red and saffron clothing with red shawls, many holding brass plates of offerings. A tall brass oil lamp stands at left beside a tripod camera. Several bald and white-haired devotees in white garments sit in the foreground.2015-10-26Indoor ritual scene in a purple-lit hall with ornate gold carved panels. A figure seated on an ornate gold and red throne, wearing a white floral garland, red-and-orange robes and a beaded bracelet, raises a tall golden staff with the other hand. Seated before the throne on a red carpet, many devotees hold brass plates and small oil lamps with lit flames, some in white kurtas with red-orange shawls, others in red saris and orange-red shawls. The figure on the throne has long dark hair and distinctive ceremonial clothing, but the appearance is not clear enough to confirm identity, so the seated figure is described by role only.2015-07-21July 21 20152015-07-21A seated figure on an ornate gold-and-red throne with a richly carved gilded frame and a fringed canopy overhead is garlanded with a multicoloured flower necklace and wears a red-orange cloth draped over the shoulders, with a red tilak on the forehead. Several devotees in white kurtas and orange-red shawls sit on a blue carpet before the throne, holding silver offering trays and small brass vessels in front of them. Behind them, more devotees sit in the room, and a standing lamp and wall panels with framed artwork complete the hall. The image appears to show a satsang or darshan setting with a ceremonial offering. The throned figure's appearance is consistent with the page reference, but the figure is not confidently identified from appearance alone.2014-05-17December 29 20142014-12-29
