A photograph taken at night of a priest in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, wearing a decorated silver-and-gold crown, lighting an oil lamp with a flame before a deity murti. The murti is adorned with heavy yellow and white marigold garlands, red flower garlands and a green leaf garland, with a blue satin cloth beneath. Behind is a colourful painted pillar with floral motifs and a bird design, and a metal scaffold frame with orange fabric overhead. The priest appears to be performing aarti or deepa puja; one person is visible.

A night photograph of a ritual scene. A man with a shaved head wears an orange-saffron robe and a beaded necklace, standing at the left with his hands at a golden trident-tipped staff. Beside him a deity murti stands in a shrine densely decorated with garlands of white, red, pink, yellow and purple flowers. The deity wears an orange cloth, gold jewellery and a crown, and holds a trident and a lance-like staff. Green and red draped fabric and yellow marigolds lie at the base, with a white fur-like cloth at the lower left. Gold ceremonial items and hanging yellow and pink decorations appear at the edges.

Inside a plain concrete-block room, a long-haired man in saffron robes with white sacred ash marks on his shoulders and arm stands at left, holding a silver vessel and a small object toward large decorated deity murti. The murtis are garlanded with red, yellow and white flowers and wear golden crowns, with one orange-clad figure at right. Behind them a younger man in orange robes with a gold necklace stands beside a woman in white. A seated man in white and gold appears at lower left. The scene looks like a puja or abhishekam in progress.

Evening puja at a temple-like outdoor setting: a priest in a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, wearing an ornate embroidered black-and-gold conical headdress, holds a ceremonial lamp toward a pair of deity murtis draped in dense garlands of yellow, red, purple and white flowers with green leaves. The deity figures have crowns and are seated on a white cloth. Another saffron-robed assistant sits behind with hands folded, and a man in white kurta sits at right with palms pressed together. A brass plate of turmeric-yellow offerings sits in front, and smoke rises from the lamp.

A photograph of a temple shrine adorned with garlands of red, orange, yellow and purple flowers. Two golden deity murtis sit on a raised seat: the left figure wears an orange turban and a rudraksha-style necklace, and the right figure wears a gold crown and ornate jewellery, with a gold kalasha-like object in front. A person in an orange-brown dress with yellow borders stands at the left, holding a lit oil lamp toward the murtis as part of a puja. Brass oil lamps stand at the edges of the frame. The person is dressed in orange and does not show distinctive a person cues strong enough to label them, so the a person field is unsure.

A photograph inside a temple shrine showing a long-haired figure in saffron-orange robes with white ash marks on the arms, leaning forward with hands extended to offer a red flower and an orange cloth to a row of large white deity murti. The murti wear gold crowns, yellow and pink embroidered garments, and garlands of white and multicoloured flowers; one holds a bow and another a weapon. Behind, two younger people in orange robes stand with hands folded in anjali mudra, and a seated man in orange with a beaded necklace watches. A fourth person in pink and white sits at the left edge. White walls and a small elephant-form murti with garland complete the scene.

Night procession on a dirt ground in front of a scaffolded temple structure. A man in saffron robes and an orange head wrap walks barefoot at the centre, his hands at his sides. Behind him, several men in white dhotis and white shirts, with orange shoulder cloths, carry large ornate umbrellas with red, green and gold fringed canopies. A tall ceremonial staff with a metal finial is held among them. A bright floodlight glows in the upper right, and a small brass vessel sits on the ground at lower left.
