Strings of marigold garlands hang from the lingam. Several people in white ritual clothes stand on a raised platform beside the lingam and along a railing staircase, while others sit on the red steps at left. A woman in orange clothing stands near the lingam. Overcast sky and trees frame the scene.

October 22 20142014-10-22A large black Shiva linga stands on a raised platform in the middle of a reflecting water pool, with gold-trimmed ceremonial cloth draped around its base. Red tiered stone steps rise on both sides of the pool, and a white railing runs along the staircases. On the left steps, a group of about a dozen people in white clothes sit and gather around brass vessels and offerings, while a few others stand on the steps and along the upper rail. Behind the pool is an unfinished multi-storey concrete building with scaffolding, under a cloudy sky with some trees at the edges. The scene suggests a linga abhishekam setting at an outdoor shrine.2010-10-22 +1 copiesA large black Shiva linga stands on a circular red-tiled base in the middle of a reflecting pool, flanked by red-tiered stone steps on both sides. Ornamental yellow and orange cloth-wrapped decorations are placed on the linga base. A partially built multi-storey structure with exposed concrete and scaffolding rises behind, under a pale cloudy sky.
