A seated man in an orange-red robe with a white vibhuti line on his forehead and a multi-colored flower garland receives a blessing from a shaved-headed priest in a white dhoti with a gold border, who is bare-chested and wears a red beaded necklace. The priest's hand rests on the seated man's head while the seated man holds a rudraksha mala. Behind them stands an ornate gold throne with carved floral panels, red and white flower garlands drape overhead, and a golden trident and ceremonial staff stand to the left. A young attendant with a rudraksha mala and orange cloth sits at the left edge. The seated man has long dark hair and a beard and is seated on a cushioned throne. Four people are visible.2018-05-22Ceremonial temple scene before an ornate gold throne-like backdrop draped with red and white flower garlands. A bearded man in a rust-red robe with a bare shoulder sits at right, a white vibhuti mark on his forehead and long hair swept back, his eyes closed in a serene expression. Two attendants stand at left in white dhotis with yellow borders, one with his hair in a tall topknot and bare torso marked with white paste, holding a folded white paper. A kneeling devotee with a shaved head and white cloth draped over his shoulder bends forward in front of the seated figure. The scene suggests a puja or darshan ritual, with the white paper being offered or handled during the ceremony.2018-05-24A photograph of a ceremony in a gold-hung shrine room. A smiling man with long dreadlocked hair, a dark red-brown cloth and a large multi-coloured garland of yellow, white, red and green flowers sits on a red cushioned seat. A priest in white dhoti with a gold border and orange shawl leans forward and offers him an item with both hands. Behind them stand other attendants, one wearing a rudraksha mala, and a large floral garland hangs on the wall with green leaves and a gold trident-shaped ornament at the left. The seated man has distinctive dreadlocked hair and garlands, but the appearance is not clear enough for a confident identification.2016-07-19May 24 20182018-05-24 +1 copiesMay 22 20182018-05-22May 03 20162016-05-03September 11 20162016-09-11May 24 20182018-05-24March 03 20172017-03-03July 19 20162016-07-19March 14 20172017-03-14Photo of a ceremony in a decorated hall. A seated man on a gold-cushioned throne wears a rust-red turban, red-orange robes and a long rudraksha mala with gold beads, smiling as he holds a small offering in his hand. Behind him hangs a large garland of yellow marigolds and red and white flowers, and a gilded lion-shaped carving rests beside the throne. Standing to the left, a shaved-headed priest in white dhoti and shawl with gold border wears rudraksha malas, sacred ash marks on his forehead and arms, and performs a gesture with his hands. A younger man in red-orange cloth and a rudraksha mala stands at the far left edge.2015-07-31
