In the foreground, a young man with hair tied up in a bun and a rudraksha mala speaks into a black handheld microphone with his right hand raised, while a bald man beside him with a yellow tilak listens with his head bowed. Behind them, more orange-robed devotees sit on mats, with water bottles and a green mat visible on the floor. A single speaker appears to be addressing the group. The speaker's appearance does not clearly match the presentation cues needed for an identification, so the role is given as a speaker and identity is left uncertain.2016-07-12A photograph of a standing figure in a red draped garment with a long rudraksha mala across the chest, eyes closed, holding a tall silver staff with a spearhead, in a hall with an audience seated on the floor. In the foreground a shaved-headed person in saffron-orange sits at the lower left, and a large brown leather armchair is at the right. Behind them, seated devotees wear orange and white clothing, some with orange headbands, and a black speaker stands on the upper right.2015-12-11September 21 20132013-09-21A photograph of a ritual gathering in smoky light. In the centre, a young shaved-headed man in orange robes with a white tilak and a rudraksha mala holds a small brass vessel and stands looking downward. Around him, many shaved-headed men and boys in orange and saffron garments and beaded malas sit and stand closely, some with hands folded. Two girls in orange dresses and beads stand at left. Brass plates and vessels rest on a cloth in the foreground, and a tall gilded ornamental pillar with a canopy is visible in the background. Smoke drifts through the scene.
