Behind them, other orange-clad devotees and an older man in a saffron-toned shawl with a white forehead mark sit in a bright hall with red curtains and wall-mounted air conditioners, while a woman in a dark outfit sits at the back. The disciples' hands rest palm-up on their knees in a ritual posture.

Foreground boys wear orange cloth and rudraksha malas, their foreheads and arms marked with white ash; some hold small items at their hands while sitting before brass puja vessels, small dishes and flowers on low tables.
