A seated group of male devotees performs a ritual in a hall, many holding small oil lamps or brass lamps and some with incense or flame. Most wear white dhoti and shawl-style cloths with rudraksha malas; several in front wear saffron-orange robes and malas. Brass puja plates, kalasha-style vessels and small brass lamps sit on orange mats. Several men have vibhuti or tilak marks on forehead and arms. The scene suggests a puja or aarti. Visible people number about twenty.
