July 21 20142014-07-21May 01 20142014-05-01July 21 20142014-07-21A seated man in saffron-orange robes and a gold necklace of beads sits on a golden throne with lion-form arms, a peacock-feather fan at left. He has a tilak on his forehead and long swept-back hair. He reaches out and rests his hand on the head of a kneeling woman with short hair, who wears an orange shawl and white top and holds her palms together in namaskar. A tall silver staff with a black cobra coiled around it stands beside them, and red curtains hang behind. Two people are visible, one partially at the lower right in orange clothing. Figure appearance suggests a person in a seated blessing role, but identity is uncertain.2014-07-25July 27 20142014-07-27July 21 20142014-07-21A photograph of a seated man in saffron-orange robes with a swept-back hairstyle, a tilak on his forehead, a gold-and-beaded necklace, and rudraksha-style beads, sitting on an ornate gold throne. He smiles while holding the hand of an older woman in a white sari who kneels before him and holds a red cloth. Silver trident staffs and a floral garland stand near the throne, and a bald man in orange stands behind. The background is draped in red and orange fabric. Swamiji (probable): the seated man has several qualifying cues (swept-back hair, saffron robes, ornate gold necklace, rudraksha beads) and sits on a throne, so the appearance-based label applies.2013-02-08November 10 20152015-11-10A photograph of a seated figure in an ornate gold throne holding out a small golden fruit or offering to a kneeling devotee. The seated figure wears an orange-red turban with a small white flower tucked in it, a red-orange cloth draped over the body and a long necklace of gold beads. Appearance-based candidate for a person, identified by the turban, saffron-orange attire and bead necklace, seated on a gold throne. The devotee, in a pale checked shirt with glasses and bangles, joins palms in namaskar with head bowed. Behind them stand a tall brass lamp stand and a brass oil lamp with a bird-shaped top, against a red drape and an ornate gold backdrop.2015-10-10A photo of a ceremonial blessing. On the left, a man in an orange-red turban with gold floral patterns, an orange-red shawl, gold necklaces and a long rudraksha mala is smiling as he touches the forehead of an older woman with curly grey hair. She wears a white top, red-orange rudraksha beads and a bangle, and has her palms joined in anjali. Behind them stand a silver staff with a cobra coiled around it, a gold deity murti and a red curtain. The man's appearance, with the turban, ornate gold jewellery and saffron-toned dress, is consistent with the Swamiji (probable) label, so swamiji is set to in_person. Another person stands partly visible at the far right edge.2014-08-03A seated figure in an orange-red turban with gold embroidery and a saffron-orange garment, wearing a large gold-bead necklace and red rudraksha bracelets, extends his right hand to touch the forehead of a woman in a white top with an orange-red shawl whose hands are raised. Behind them are gold lion-head carvings, a silver-topped staff and red curtains. Appearance-based candidate, a person: the saffron turban, ornate gold necklace and rudraksha cues match the role of the seated giver of blessing, with the woman receiving darshan.2014-08-03August 09 20152015-08-09
