A photograph of a temple ritual in which a man in white clothing with a red sash and a gold pendant holds a small silver stand of burning incense sticks, sending up curling smoke. Beside him a woman in a white sari with a gold border and a red bindi stands with her hair pulled back, also in a white sari with gold border. Men with shaved heads and a white-clad figure with a sandalwood-marked forehead are partly visible in the foreground. Soft blurred background with a red wall and cream panel suggests a devotional gathering or puja.
