A photograph of a ritual blessing. A sannyasi in saffron-orange robes with a topknot and a rudraksha mala at his neck places his right hand on the crown of a seated man's head. The seated man wears a white shirt, has a vermilion tilak on his forehead, and keeps his eyes closed. A small tray of bananas sits in the foreground on an orange cloth, with a striped blue and purple mat beside. Behind them stand other attendees in saffron and pale clothing, and a brass lamp and potted plant are visible at the left edge.2010-07-19A photograph of a shaved-headed... no, a long-haired man in an orange sleeveless top with an orange shawl draped over his shoulder, reaching his right hand onto the head of a seated older man in white clothing with a red tilak mark on his forehead. The seated man has his eyes closed and a smile. Behind them a young woman in a cream sari with an orange shawl and a rudraksha mala stands, and another person in a light sari is partly visible, with a red-and-white painted wall and an orange cloth in the background. The scene reads as a blessing given through touch on the head.2010-07-19June 30 20102010-06-30A seated man in an orange sleeveless robe with long, wavy dark hair places his right palm on the forehead of an older man kneeling before him. The older man wears a white shirt and a dark rudraksha-style mala, with his palms joined in anjali mudra. Behind them, people in white dhotis and orange or yellow shawls stand near a table holding brass vessels. An orange cloth covers the floor, and a red border runs along the wall. The scene appears to be a blessing or darshan moment.2010-07-07A seated man in an orange sannyasi-style wrap, bare-shouldered, with his dark hair tied in a topknot and a thin black cord around his neck, places his right hand on the forehead of an older man with grey hair and a moustache. The older man, wearing a white kurta and a red-beaded mala with a lanyard badge, has his eyes closed and palms raised near his face in a receiving gesture. The orange-clad man holds a silver-handled object in his left hand. Behind them, a red curtain and blurred standing figures in pale clothes suggest an indoor hall.2011-12-09A photograph of an indoor sarva darshan blessing inside a hall with white draped ceiling fabric and a yellow and blue patterned hanging. A young person in an orange sleeveless robe with long dark hair in a low bun places a hand on the forehead of an older man in a white checked short-sleeved shirt, who has a rudraksha-style red-brown mala around his neck and bows his head while another man holds his hand. Behind them a bald man in white with an orange stole watches, and an elderly woman with glasses and a yellow-sleeved person in white stand nearby. Fruit sits on a table at right and a red cloth is visible at the edge.2010-07-29July 06 20102010-07-06A seated man in a white shirt kneels on an orange cloth with a blue mat bearing partial lettering at his feet, while a woman in orange sleeveless clothing and a bald man in white with an orange shawl and rudraksha mala stand behind an orange-upholstered chair. The woman, seated on the chair, touches the kneeling man's forehead in blessing. Standing around them are men in white and yellow shawls, one in a white dhoti with a purple-marked shirt, and another in orange robes. A wooden tray with small items sits beside the chair, and a painted red and white border decorates the wall behind.2010-07-07January 06 20122012-01-06A photograph of a devotional blessing in a white-tented hall. In the centre, a young man in an orange sleeveless robe with a white tilak on his forehead and dark hair tied in a bun places his right hand on the head of an older man in a white checked short-sleeved shirt with a red-and-white mala around his neck. Behind them a bald man in white clothes with an orange shawl and a red bindi watches. A woman with glasses and a yellow-and-white cloth at the left edge is partly visible, and a yellow-and-blue hanging banner is at the top left. Fruit sits on a table at right.2010-07-29July 23 20102010-07-23A photograph of a blessing moment indoors against a plain white wall with a ceiling fan at the top. A person in an orange saffron garment and a bare shoulder, hair in a bun, wearing copper-coloured bangles, stands behind a older man in glasses and a white short-sleeved shirt, placing a hand on his forehead. The man stands with hands together near his waist. Behind them a seated man in white with a rudraksha mala and a shaved-head priest in orange stand near; to the right a woman in a white sari with a grey blouse watches. The swami figure's identity is only an appearance-based guess, so this is a probable depiction of a blessing scene with the orange-clad person giving a forehead blessing to a devotee.2012-04-06
