December 22 20102010-12-22A photograph of a group of men playing drums on a dusty open ground outdoors under bright sunshine. Several players hold large white and green bass drums and smaller hand drums, standing in a loose circle and facing one another. The men wear striped and plain shirts, trousers and track pants, several in white or cream shirts, with one in a red and white top. A white van and a few seated onlookers are visible in the background beside a building and leafy trees. No central figure is clearly identifiable as a person in this scene.2010-12-22December 16 20172017-12-16Five young male ascetic drummers in saffron-orange dhoti and shawls with red borders stand outdoors on a dirt ground in front of a low white wall with red pillars and green trees. Each wears rudraksha malas and white and red forehead markings. Several play barrel-shaped drums slung from white straps, one drummer strikes a small hand cymbal, and the man at right stands with his hands folded near his mouth. Dry leaves lie on the ground and a stone pile sits behind the wall.2014-08-31October 03 20172017-10-03 +1 copiesDecember 13 20112011-12-13January 01 20062006-01-01Outdoor temple procession along a dirt path lined with coconut palms under a bright sky. Behind them a man in a white dhoti and white shirt plays a long brass horn. Ornate multicoloured umbrellas with orange and red fringes are carried above the crowd, and a decorated palanquin or chariot with flower garlands and a golden deity figure rises in the background. Several participants wear white with orange ribbon badges.2010-02-12January 01 20112011-01-01December 20 20182018-12-20 +2 copiesAugust 11 20112011-08-11 +1 copiesA group of saffron-robed sannyasis walks along a dusty dirt path beside rusted shipping containers under a clear sky, with scrub brush, rocks and a few trees behind them.
