A murti of a deity seated on the palanquin is visible. A dense crowd of devotees in light and dark clothing stands and walks around the vehicle in the dark, with a street lamp overhead.2015-02-17Dusk procession at night with a gilded, ornately carved ratha, a chariot-style vehicle decorated with white and orange garlands and red lights. A large framed portrait of a smiling man with long dark hair, wearing a garland, is mounted at the top of the ratha; the portrait is a depiction, not a physical person. A small golden ornamental deity figure stands on the side. Behind the ratha, devotees in white and yellow clothes walk along a dirt road, and a man in a white dhoti and orange shawl holds a yellow placard. Palm trees line the roadside.2009-02-16Night procession scene with a dark background and lit deity chariots. On the right, an illuminated ornate ratha or palanquin shows a deity murti under a decorated canopy with a red cloth and gold and floral decoration. A seated figure in white sits on the chariot platform near the murti. A second lit float with a flag-like canopy stands to its left. Several dark silhouettes of people stand along the left side and near the chariot base. Strings of small lights are visible in the distance.2015-11-22February 17 20152015-02-17 +1 copiesFebruary 17 20152015-02-17February 07 20172017-02-07January 01 20132013-01-01October 06 20112011-10-06Night procession on a street with a white van or truck in the left foreground, headlights glowing.
