August 28 20152015-08-28A fire ritual in an outdoor courtyard: a visible fire pit with flames rises in the foreground, surrounded by brass plates, bowls of grains and offerings, and a small oil lamp. A man seated on an ornate silver-framed throne with a leopard-print cushion wears saffron-orange robes with gold borders, a heavy gold necklace, a rudraksha mala, and a red bindi, and a microphone is clipped to his face, and he rests his hands on his knees beside the fire. Two priests in saffron robes sit on the left; one, with a shaved head and white tilak, holds a open book and gold necklaces, while the other with a shaved head and rudraksha mala looks down. Pillars, potted plants and a brass-decorated table are visible behind.2013-06-13A photograph of a seated man on an orange-upholstered throne-style armchair, wearing a saffron-red dhoti and shawl with gold borders and a long gold-bead garland, with a tilak on his forehead. Another person in white clothing is partly visible at the left edge, and a woman in a red sari sits at the right near the throne.
