Ceremonial umbrellas in red, gold and green with tassels shade the procession, and orange flags flutter. A drummer in the foreground plays a large brown and gold drum, smiling. Devotees in white and pale clothing follow behind. The scene matches a ratha/palanquin procession with devotees and drummers.2010-12-22A dense outdoor procession in a village-like setting with palm trees behind. A central figure with long dark hair, a rudraksha-style garland of red flowers and a gold necklace, wears white and holds a trident-like staff, standing among saffron-robed sannyasis who hold ceremonial staffs and rudraksha malas. Several men in white kurtas and cream shawls walk nearby, and a man in a brown vest and white dhoti claps. Ornate yellow and orange parasols with fringed edges rise above the crowd, and musicians blow long brass horns in the foreground.
