A seated bearded man in an orange-saffron robe with a red shawl and many rudraksha malas sits on a gilded throne draped in a leopard-print cushion, smiling and holding a red fruit in his right hand. His long dark hair is wound into a high bun, and he wears a gold chain and a tilak on his forehead. A young man in a white kurta and glasses kneels before him, bowing his head and touching the throne's golden lion armrest. A brass bell hangs behind them beside strings of yellow beads and a dark wall with string lights. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure has long hair in a crown, saffron robe, rudraksha malas and gold necklace, identified by the page as the Supreme Pontiff; the kneeling young man is a devotee.2018-03-25April 10 20162016-04-10 +1 copiesA photograph of a ceremonial blessing on a golden throne. A bare-chested man in saffron-orange robes with long swept-back dark hair, rudraksha malas, a gold necklace and a white forehead marking extends his right hand in blessing over the head of a kneeling devotee. The devotee, bare-chested with a white dhoti and a rust-red turban with a gold ornament, bows with his hands joined. Behind them stands a large ornate gold throne (peetha) with a leopard-print cushion, a hanging brass bell and string lights. The seated figure has distinctive long-haired saffron-clad cues, so this is the a person receiving the devotee in a blessing scene.2018-03-25March 25 20182018-03-25May 13 20162016-05-13A seated figure in a rust-red turban and matching rust-orange garment, with a long multi-strand rudraksha mala and gold bangles, smiles while resting a hand on the shoulder of an older man in a white shirt and dark belt who bows forward toward them. Behind them stands a gold-toned carved ornamental backdrop and a red throne cushion. The visible cues of turban, rudraksha and orange clothing are consistent with Swamiji (probable), seated and receiving the devotee.
