A photograph of a seated figure in a brown turban adorned with white flowers and a jewelled brooch, wearing a brown robe, green leaf garlands and white flower garlands, red flowers, rudraksha bracelets and gold earrings. He sits before an ornate gold throne with a red cushion and smiles as a man in a white shirt, seen from behind, places his hand on the seated figure's forehead. Gold-embossed throne and red drapery form the background.2016-08-14January 31 20162016-01-31August 16 20142014-08-16 +1 copiesA photograph of a seated figure in a deep maroon turban and saffron-orange shawl, wearing layered white and red-beaded garlands, gold bangles and a gold-handled staff, reaching out to bless the forehead of an older man in a white kurta who leans forward with palms raised. Behind them are ornate gold and pink floral decorations and other seated devotees, including a woman in white with a rudraksha mala and a man in a maroon turban. The scene suggests a blessing exchange in a ritual hall.2015-10-14August 14 20162016-08-14February 06 20162016-02-06A seated figure in a rust-orange turban and brown satin wrap sits on a red velvet seat before an ornate gold throne back, wearing layered white jasmine and red-and-green flower garlands, gold bangles and gold earrings. The figure smiles and rests one hand on the head of a man in a white shirt who bows low; the bowing man's wristwatch and a pink-and-white card are visible. In the background are green leaves, a clay pot, a green-and-gold deity murti draped in flowers, and seated devotees in white. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure's turban, wrap, garlands and gold ornaments match the cues; this is a blessing scene with a devotee bowing and receiving touch on the head.2015-04-23August 21 20172017-08-21A smiling man in a salmon-pink turban, white jasmine garland and rudraksha mala places his right hand on the head of an elderly grey-haired woman in white. A small red bindi marks his forehead, and gold bangles adorn his arm. Behind him, a gilded ornate sculpture and carved stone are visible. A third person is partly visible at the right edge.2016-01-10July 26 20152015-07-26A photograph of a seated figure in a red-orange turban with a small gold ornament and a red-orange wrap draped over a bare chest, wearing long gold-bead necklaces, seated on an ornate gilded throne with red tiger-stripe cushioning. He smiles while resting a hand on the head of a shaved-headed devotee in a grey-blue striped shirt with a rudraksha mala, who is bowing forward. A second shaved-headed figure in orange-red robes and a rudraksha mala sits at the lower left, and a deep red velvet curtain hangs behind. Given the appearance cues of the seated figure, this is a person receiving a devotee's obeisance in darshan. Three people are visible.2014-08-16September 10 20172017-09-10
