A deity murti or devotional figure sits at the centre, adorned with necklaces, with a small oil lamp and a folded patterned rug in front. A man in white clothing kneels or bows near the platform. In the foreground, several women with hair pinned back stand on steps in orange, rust and red saris with gold borders, hands folded in prayer, while children in light clothing watch at right and a woman in a pink-and-white sari stands at the left edge. Dark water stretches behind the shrine, with a metal staircase at upper left.2013-11-20March 07 20162016-03-07November 20 20132013-11-20March 07 20162016-03-07Night procession photographed from a low angle. A large chariot (ratha) is decorated with dense garlands of red, white and green flowers, topped by a curved ornamental finial. Figures in traditional white dhoti and shawl attire stand on the chariot platform, one holding a long pole or flag-like object at the left. Lit lamps and string lights line the route. Crowds of devotees in saffron, red and white clothing walk in the foreground, and a camera on a stand is visible at the right edge. No candidate for a person is clearly identifiable from appearance, so the figures are described by role only.2016-12-23November 20 20132013-11-20Night procession on a dark road lit by a glowing illuminated palanquin decorated with garlands and hanging tassels in red, yellow and green, topped by an ornate canopy. A central figure in a deep red-maroon robe with a long beaded garland walks ahead of the palanquin, flanked by attendants in white dhotis and orange-red shawls. Rows of devotees in white clothes and red-orange sashes stand along both sides with hands folded, a few with flowers and white garments. The scene appears to be a ceremonial ratha or palanquin procession.2016-02-17March 07 20162016-03-07
