A photograph of a satsang gathering in an indoor hall. On the right, a figure with long swept-back hair, an orange saffron robe and a rudraksha mala sits on a red and gold ornate throne with a golden peacock-fan backrest, a golden kalasha-like canopy and flower garlands behind him; he is an appearance-based probable Swamiji candidate, seated and speaking. Seated on the floor before him, devotees in white and green clothing with folded hands and a shaved-headed boy in white with a tilak drink from small silver cups; a man in white shirt and a woman in red and green saris are among them. Silver trays with fruit and offerings sit on the floor, and a microphone stands at the left.2010-10-09A seated man on a red and gold throne with golden lion armrests, wearing a saffron-red robe, a gold-and-red ornate crown, a long gold necklace and a bare upper body, sits with hands resting and feet bare. Before him on a red cloth, women and a man in white clothes sit in a padapuja, with brass plates holding flowers, fruit, yellow sweets and lit oil lamps. A woman in a purple sari and a woman in white wear red and rudraksha malas. Behind them a man in a red-brown robe sits, and a man in white sits near a sound mixing desk and camera on a patterned carpet. The setting is a hall with a dark wall and plants.2013-12-13October 12 20172017-10-12September 20 20152015-09-20December 11 20132013-12-11A photograph of a padapuja during a satsang event. A man with long swept-back dark hair, wearing a saffron-orange shawl with a rudraksha-style beaded garland, sits on an ornate red and gold throne flanked by gilded lion sculptures, holding a white fly-whisk-style staff and a small hand drum. Several devotees sit on the floor before him: a woman in a white sari with a pink blouse holds a silver thali of flowers and lamps, a woman in white with a rudraksha mala sits nearby, and an older man in white with glasses has his hands folded. Brass plates with offerings and flower petals lie on the floor, and girls in white sit in the foreground. Behind them are a large screen and a green plant.2013-12-11A seated man in an orange-brown robe sits on an ornate carved wooden throne with a golden lion figure beside it, wearing multiple gold chains and a rudraksha-style necklace and gold armbands. Around the raised platform, devotees in white and cream clothes sit on a leopard-print cloth and hold small brass and silver dishes of offerings, while one woman in an orange shawl presses her palms together. Several devotees are performing padapuja, with feet being honoured with flowers and oil lamps in front of the throne. The setting is a red-upholstered theatre-style lounge with curtains and seating.2012-12-21A photograph of a ceremonial gathering in a draped red-curtained hall with ornate gold decoration. A man seated on a large gilded throne wears a rust-orange turban, orange clothing and a long rudraksha-style bead mala, with a shawl across his shoulders; his cues are distinctive, so he is a probable Swamiji candidate. Before him, a semicircle of seated devotees, many in white and saffron-red shawls, some holding offerings, face the throne. Women in white and yellow sit in the foreground. A brass oil lamp stands at right and a gilded lamp glows at left. Offerings are arranged on a brass tray before the throne.2015-10-26September 26 20152015-09-26A photograph of a padapuja ritual in an indoor hall with plush furnishings. A man seated on an ornate brown throne with carved wooden arms wears saffron-orange clothing, a long swept-back hairstyle, a tilak on his forehead, and a thick pink, white and purple floral garland. Devotees sit on the floor around him in white and orange garments; a woman in orange near the front holds a brass plate of offerings, and a seated woman in white with folded hands watches. Behind them stand gilded deity murtis on a decorated altar with a colourful pillar and a banner. A golden ornamental object is in the right foreground. Several people are visible and partly cut off at the edges.2012-12-27December 21 20122012-12-21a person seated on an ornate gold throne with carved lion-face arms and a tiger-skin cushion, wearing an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, a rudraksha mala and a layered ceremonial gold necklace, with hair swept back.
