Photograph of a satsang in a gilded hall. A man in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl with an orange turban sits on an ornate gold throne with lion-carved arms and red cushions, holding a microphone stand before him and a rudraksha-style mala draped on his chest. Around him sit young students and adults: children in white kurtas with rudraksha malas and tilak on foreheads, and several women in orange and saffron saris sitting on a red carpet. A standing cooling fan and an air conditioner are visible, and a golden pillar with carved figures frames the right side. The orange-turbaned seated figure is a probable Swamiji by his saffron clothing, turban, mala and throne; the rest are devotees.2015-09-26September 19 20152015-09-19A seated man in saffron-orange robes with long dark hair sits on a gilded lion-armed throne with a red heart-shaped back, hands pressed together in namaskar. A garland of white flowers hangs over his lap. In front, a golden tray holds rows of small glasses and offerings, and devotees in white with yellow shawls sit cross-legged around it, some reaching toward the tray in padapuja-style worship. Bananas and fruit lie to the right, and a water bottle sits on a side table. The hall has red walls and tan columns with open windows. The man's appearance is consistent with the page's reference to a person, though this is an appearance-based candidate only. Several shaved-headed devotees in white sit nearby, and a woman in yellow shawl and white sari sits at the back.2009-12-07October 23 20152015-10-23May 27 20152015-05-27August 22 20062006-08-22Indoor satsang scene with a seated guru figure on an ornate golden throne with orange cushions, wearing an orange turban, orange robes, a white jasmine garland and gold armband, with a golden staff beside him. Surrounding devotees sit on the floor in white and orange-red clothing, many with orange-red shawls and marigold garlands; a woman in green and gold sari sits in front, and a child-like figure in white is nearby. Red drapes, gold pillars and a brass oil lamp frame the hall, with flower arrangements at left. The seated figure matches a probable Swamiji by his orange turban, saffron robes, garland and throne, presiding over the gathering as its leader.2015-05-27A devotee gathering in a warmly lit hall with purple stage lighting and gold-carved pillars. A figure seated on an ornate gold-and-orange throne with a white and red flower garland, wearing orange and saffron robes, appears to be the central figure, though identity is not established from appearance alone. Seated devotees in front wear white kurtas or saris with orange-red shawls printed with text, and some hold brass plates of flowers and offerings. Brass oil lamps and a red flower-filled plate stand at the left, and a lantern hangs at the upper right. The group appears to be performing a padapuja, with devotees seated around the throne and a tray of offerings placed before it.2015-07-21A photograph of a ceremonial gathering in a draped red-curtained hall with ornate gold decoration. A man seated on a large gilded throne wears a rust-orange turban, orange clothing and a long rudraksha-style bead mala, with a shawl across his shoulders; his cues are distinctive, so he is a probable Swamiji candidate. Before him, a semicircle of seated devotees, many in white and saffron-red shawls, some holding offerings, face the throne. Women in white and yellow sit in the foreground. A brass oil lamp stands at right and a gilded lamp glows at left. Offerings are arranged on a brass tray before the throne.2015-10-26May 27 20152015-05-27October 08 20132013-10-08A photograph of a puja being performed in a stage hall. A man in an orange saffron robe with a rudraksha mala sits in a red-cushioned golden throne on a raised dais, hands resting in his lap with eyes closed. Beside him stands an ornate gold peetha with a red-and-gold chair and a wooden side table. Before the throne, several people sit on the floor in white dhotis and saris, some wearing yellow, holding brass plates with flowers, fruit and oil lamps for padapuja. A woman in a green sari and a shaved-head man in white sit close to the offerings, and a woman in yellow sits with her back to the camera. A deity murti decorated with garlands and a pink-and-teal silk cloth appears at the upper right.2010-11-24
