September 19 20122012-09-19Photo of a puja at an outdoor Hindu ritual setting. A man with long, swept-back dark hair, bare-shouldered in an orange cloth and wearing ceremonial gold bead necklaces, leans forward holding a silver kalasha-style vessel and a silver puja vessel on a tray. Beside him, a shaven-headed priest in orange robes with white forehead marks and glasses holds a small tray with a card or packet, and another man in orange with gold-bead necklace and maroon-edged cloth holds a silver dish. Behind them, a man in a red and gold turban and a person in yellow robes stand among onlookers, with orange flags visible overhead. A videographer's camera is at the left edge. The figure with long hair and orange cloth is a candidate for a person by appearance, but the identification is uncertain.2009-10-17January 15 20162016-01-15June 13 20132013-06-13July 07 20092009-07-07June 13 20132013-06-13Three men in saffron-orange robes walk along a path between large banyan trunks with green foliage at right. The central man, with long swept-back dark hair, a red bindi and white forehead marks, wears a thick gold-coloured necklace of beads, gold bangles, earrings and a gold-yellow waist cloth; he appears to be a probable Swamiji, based on his long hair, ornate gold necklace and saffron attire. The young man at left, with shaved head, white markings on forehead and arms and a rudraksha mala, carries a golden kalasha-style pot. The man at right, shaved-headed with white forehead marks and a rudraksha mala, walks beside him in orange cloth. Their attire suggests a ritual procession or ashram walk.2013-05-18September 19 20122012-09-19A seated figure with long swept-back dark hair, a red tilak, a thick gold necklace of beads and a rudraksha mala, wearing orange robes with yellow borders, places his right hand on the bald head of a kneeling shaven-headed man in orange robes with white horizontal marks on his forehead and arms. The kneeling man smiles and places his hand on his chest. Behind them a woman in orange with a yellow border sits and another woman in orange stands near an orange-clad figure. A silver throne with ornate carved panels and a leopard-print cloth stand beside the seated man, with a silver ritual object at his feet. The setting is an outdoor courtyard with green trees and a brick wall. Appearance-based probable Swamiji, given his long hair, ornate gold necklace and rudraksha mala, seated on a throne in an act of blessing.2013-06-13Outdoor photo under a canopy with palm trees and tall orange and white festival streamers. A man with long swept-back black hair wears an orange saffron robe and a heavy ceremonial gold bead necklace, extending his right hand forward as he speaks. Swamiji (probable): long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and ornate gold necklace are the qualifying cues. Around him, men in white dhotis with sacred thread and tilak marks stand close, one holding a small white cup. A shaved-headed man in front of them bends forward holding offerings, and a stone statue appears at the left edge.2010-11-06July 07 20092009-07-07January 06 20132013-01-06
