Outdoor procession on an unpaved dirt road at dusk, with trees and a large blank billboard behind. A figure in the centre wears a thick white and orange flower garland, a rudraksha mala and an orange robe, with long hair swept back, and walks forward at the front of the group. Beside him a man in white dhoti and shawl carries a brass tray with a kalasha-like vessel and a green leaf sprig. Several men in orange and white robes walk in the group, two bald men on the right fold their hands in namaste, and other people in white and light clothing stand or walk in the background.2011-10-07October 07 20112011-10-07October 07 20112011-10-07April 05 20122012-04-05Outdoor procession on a dirt path with a striped festival canopy and bunting overhead. A central man with long dark hair and a painted forehead wears a saffron-orange dhoti and a thick garland of white jasmine, yellow and red flowers, smiling and raising both palms in greeting. Around him, men in saffron and orange robes with rudraksha malas and white-clad devotees in white dhotis with gold-bordered shawls walk alongside, some with hands folded. Banana plants, a parked white vehicle and a hoarding with portrait photographs stand behind the crowd.2010-12-29December 30 20072007-12-30January 08 20122012-01-08Outdoor photo on a dusty dirt ground with trees and a bush behind a wire fence. A central figure in a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, with long swept-back hair, rudraksha mala beads and bangles, walks barefoot and looks ahead; the appearance cues are distinctive, so this is a probable Swamiji (probable) figure in procession. Beside him a man in a white dhoti holds a tray of yellow flowers, and a woman in a blue sari carries a bag. Other devotees in white dhotis, shirts and a red-shirted boy stand around with hands folded, and a stone-coloured jacketed man stands at left. Several people are visible, roughly a dozen.2011-12-09December 29 20102010-12-29Outdoor photo of a procession at dusk on a dirt ground. A central figure in saffron-orange robes wears an orange turban and a long dark rudraksha mala, with hands folded in front, walking forward and smiling. A woman beside him in orange garments holds a long garland of red and orange flowers. Around them, men in white dhotis and white shirts, a man in a checked shirt and dark trousers, and women in white saris with orange borders, some with hands joined in greeting, stand or walk. A uniformed police officer stands in the background near tall light poles and a large white screen structure.2010-02-16 +1 copiesOutdoor photo on a dirt road with tyre tracks, a silver sedan parked at left and trees and a large white billboard behind. A figure in saffron-orange robes with a long-haired, swept-back appearance and an orange garland is walking forward, with a second saffron-robed man in front of them bending to sweep or touch the ground with a small object. Behind them a group of men in white dhotis and shirts walk or stand, some with hands folded in greeting, and a small child in a red top stands among them. The scene looks like a procession or ceremonial walk of ashram members. In the centre, a long-haired man in saffron-orange robes and a rudraksha mala wears a garland of marigolds and carries an offering tray, flanked by orange-robed sadhus and men in white shirts and dhotis. A large empty billboard stands behind the trees and a parked car sits to the left. Several figures in white and saffron walk together, some carrying items. The visible cues of the central figure (long hair, saffron robe, rudraksha mala, garland) are distinctive, so the central figure is a probable Swamiji.2011-09-26
