A central man with long hair pulled back wears a red and gold silk garment, a large garland with red pompoms and silver bead ornaments, and gold necklaces; a rudraksha mala hangs on his chest. He smiles broadly as a young girl in a blue and gold embroidered outfit is greeted by a man in a white shirt holding a microphone. To the right, a shaved-headed man in orange and white wears a rudraksha mala and bangles. Flower garlands of white jasmine with pink blooms lie on a tray in the foreground, and a decorated backdrop with a deity print appears behind. Several other men and women in white and pink clothing stand around.2013-11-11May 27 20132013-05-27 +1 copiesSeptember 05 20122012-09-05 +1 copiesPhoto of a seated figure in a rust-brown and saffron-orange robe, wearing a long gold-and-rudraksha mala and a large gold pendant, with gold bangles and an armlet. Their long dark hair is swept back and they lean forward over a silver bowl of white grains, guiding a small girl in a yellow dress who is offering apples. A man in a white dhoti and shirt, with a white and red flower garland and a rudraksha mala, stands beside them, while a woman in a cream sari with gold border and a flower-garlanded braid bends in to assist the child. Orange cloth covers the seat, and devotees in white and bright floral clothing stand behind. The scene suggests a devotional offering or ritual exchange.2014-06-21 +1 copiesA photograph of a seated figure on an ornate golden throne, wearing a rust-orange dhoti and shawl with gold beaded necklaces and rudraksha beads, smiling and extending a hand to a young woman in a white dress who offers a small silver vessel. Behind the throne are garlands of yellow marigolds and red roses and a golden deity murti. Smiling women in white saris and orange-bordered shawls stand nearby, and young men in white shirts with rudraksha malas watch with hands folded. Partial heads of onlookers appear in the foreground. This is a Swamiji (probable) candidate appearing in person, identified by the saffron-orange clothing, long swept-back hair and ceremonial gold necklaces.2015-07-31November 11 20132013-11-11May 26 20132013-05-26A photograph of a festive devotional gathering under a white tent. At the centre, a man with long dark hair and a flower garland of white blossoms wears an orange-saffron robe and gold-bead necklaces and smiles as he stands before an ornate gold-and-red throne. Behind him a golden throne with a carved backrest and a seated deity-style emblem is decorated with red flowers. A man on the left in an orange robe and ceremonial beads holds a silver vessel and a small silver implement, while a bearded man with long hair and an orange robe stands nearby. Around them, devotees in white shirts, a woman in a teal top and a woman in a white sari with a red border press forward, some holding hands together in greeting or reaching toward the central figure. A bearded older man in white stands at right, and a standing fan and a vase of flowers sit near the throne.2009-07-07
