Outdoors in a garden with palm and tropical trees, two young boys in saffron-orange sannyasi-style cloth with red borders perform a ritual at a black stone Nandi bull statue, which is being bathed with water and has garlands around its neck. The boy on the left, wearing a rudraksha-style necklace and gold earring, pours liquid while holding a small vessel; the boy on the right, in orange cloth with a red-bordered wrap and beaded necklace, holds a small spoon and stands by a brass vessel. Behind the statue stands an orange-brown stone shivalinga-style pillar with carved tiers, a kalasha-type top, and a small offering bowl with flowers and marigold garlands on the orange platform.2013-10-02October 02 20132013-10-02A young boy in an orange saffron dhoti and orange shawl stands at a black stone Nandi bull statue, pouring water from a brass kalasha pot over the bull's back as water streams down its carved body. The Nandi sits on an orange-painted base with a small offering of flower petals. Behind him a woman in a blue sari stands near an orange wall, with palm trees and green foliage around. The scene looks like an abhishekam offering at a temple outdoors.2013-10-02March 05 20082008-03-05 +1 copiesMarch 05 20082008-03-05 +1 copiesMarch 05 20082008-03-05 +1 copiesA man in an orange saffron dhoti and shawl stands outdoors among palm trees and pours liquid from a brass pot over a large black stone Nandi bull statue, a puja offering.
