A photograph of a man in a light blue and white striped short-sleeved shirt and grey trousers, standing with his back to the camera in a plain, unfinished room. He is stacking or handling bundles of thin wooden strips and slats piled against the white wall and spread across the concrete floor. Scattered debris and broken wooden boards lie near a grey metal cabinet on the left. A dark wooden door stands behind him. The scene appears to be a workshop or storage area, and the man is the only person visible. No a person candidate is visible.2007-12-06Stacked unpainted wooden frames of pale timber leaning in tall piles against a plain whitewashed concrete wall, with scattered wood offcuts, shavings and a coil of yellow rope on the ground and top. A rough grey stone block sits at the left edge. No people or ritual activity are visible; the frames appear to be stored building or woodwork material.2007-12-06December 06 20092009-12-06December 06 20072007-12-06September 07 20162016-09-07A dry, open construction site under clear sky. A long open-sided shed with a thatched roof of dried palm or grass sits on a low breeze-block and concrete wall, supported by thin wooden poles. Stacks of cut thatch and bundled wooden planks lie on bare reddish earth in the foreground. A large leafy tree stands at the right edge beside the shed. One person in a white shirt and dark trousers stands at the far left near the stacked materials. No ritual activity, deity, or a person is visible.2008-02-19A worker in a pink striped shirt plasters an unfinished interior wall of unpainted concrete blocks, holding a flat mortar tray in his left hand and smoothing grey cement with a trowel in his raised right hand. The wall is partly coated with grey render, and a small dark fixture or niche sits high on the wall. Pillars and a beam frame the bare space.2010-01-13A photo of cyclone relief work outdoors beside a weathered brick wall and a rusty metal panel. A man in the foreground wears a light blue checked short-sleeved shirt and holds a paper plate of white rice or food, looking down. Behind him, an older man in a white shirt sits and also holds a paper plate of white food. Scattered bricks and dry dirt lie on the ground, and a wooden plank rests against the wall. A small purple logo appears at the top left.2012-01-07A photograph of an open-sided, corrugated-roof stone workshop with a sandy floor, showing granite blocks and slabs of various sizes scattered across the ground and along the sides. Several workers in light clothing and lungis crouch or bend over the stones, some chiselling or shaping them, while others stand near the back under the shelter. Palm and tree foliage shows beyond the posts, and a purple bird logo appears in the upper left corner.A young man in a pale yellow collared shirt and blue jeans crouches on a concrete-paved area, troweling wet grey mortar or cement into gaps between stone slabs. A metal basin of mortar sits beside him, and a bare-bricked wall with a pipe runs behind. A red-and-orange wrist thread is visible on his arm. This appears to be a construction work scene.2016-09-12A photograph of a construction site with a set of freshly rendered concrete steps leading up to a building. Two workers are bent over at the lower left and right, one in a white shirt and grey trousers working with a tool on the wet mortar, the other in a light shirt and blue trousers at the far left applying material to the blocks. A red and white painted railing lines the right side, with tall trees and a white wall in the background. Bright, washed-out sunlight fills the scene. No a person candidate is visible.2007-05-19October 28 20162016-10-28 +1 copies
