A photograph of a seated man in a golden-framed ornate throne, wearing a maroon and gold-bordered dhoti-style garment, a long rudraksha mala and a red wrist thread, smiling as he reaches forward to touch the hand of a younger person. The younger person wears an orange saffron robe, glasses and a short hair cut, standing and smiling. A third person in a rudraksha mala, partly visible at the right edge, looks on. The background is a beige wall and cushioned throne back. Swamiji (probable): the seated man has long swept-back hair, a rudraksha mala and ornate gold-trimmed throne seating, which are distinctive ceremonial cues for the presiding Swamiji.2014-03-09A seated man in maroon robes with long dark hair and a gold-trimmed throne behind him drapes an orange shawl over a young boy in orange clothes and glasses, who bows with hands joined. A smiling bald man in orange-brown robes with a rudraksha mala stands at right, watching. A gold-ornamented chair and cream wall form the backdrop of this initiation-style moment. The seated man has long swept hair and a rudraksha mala visible on his chest, which are cues for a person, but the appearance is not conclusive, so this is marked unsure.2014-03-09March 09 20142014-03-09A seated man in a maroon and gold-bordered dhoti-style cloth and a rudraksha mala sits on an ornate gold-carved throne with a cream cushioned back, smiling and extending his hands forward. Facing him, a younger man in a bright orange kurta with a rudraksha mala draped over his shoulder leans forward with his hands cupped, receiving something from him. A third man, partially visible at the right edge with a shaved head and orange garment, stands behind them. The setting is a plain beige-walled room.2014-03-09March 09 20142014-03-09March 25 20142014-03-25July 07 20152015-07-07A photograph of a seated figure on a gold-and-leopard-print throne, wearing a tall black turban, white forehead markings, orange-saffron cloth draped over the shoulders, rudraksha mala beads and gold bangles, receiving an offering from a bowing man in an orange robe who has grey hair. A second man in the background, wearing a rudraksha mala, a red bindi and a dark-orange garment, watches. Gold ornate carving and maroon curtains form the backdrop. Swamiji (probable) is the seated figure, identified by the turban, saffron clothing and ornate gold throne; the figure appears to be receiving reverence from a devotee.2016-01-25March 09 20142014-03-09March 06 20142014-03-06Indoor photograph in a plain room with grey walls and a cream-covered sofa. A man with long dark hair in a bun, wearing a rust-orange dhoti and shawl, a rudraksha mala and a gold necklace, reaches to drape a white shawl with grey border over a bowing man in orange robes and an orange turban. A second man in an orange turban smiles behind them, and at right a man in orange robes with an orange turban and a lanyard stands watching. A bowl of red flowers sits at lower left and a staff leans against the wall. Appearance-based: the man draping the shawl matches the Swamiji (probable) profile through his long hair and rudraksha and gold adornments, shown in the act of honouring the bowing devotee. The ID is appearance-based only.2013-02-07 +1 copiesA photograph of two men in a room with a painted forest backdrop of large banyan trees. On the right, a bearded man with slicked-back hair wears a bright orange shawl and orange robe, bowing forward with hands together near the first man. A red curtain hangs at the left edge and a beige cushion is visible below. The right man is a devotee in orange, bowing.2013-02-12
